In 2020, I proudly graduated as a medical doctor, a milestone that coincided with the arrival of the COVID-19 pandemic in Hungary. In response to this global health crisis, I felt compelled to delve into the realm of virological research. My particular focus was on achieving complete virus inactivation and exploring its potential applications in diagnostics and therapeutics.
This journey of discovery led to the founding of RoLink Biotechnology Kft., a dynamic biotech startup. Within this venture, we achieved remarkable milestones, notably through a clinical study (2020-2.1.1-ED-2020-00100). Our accomplishments spanned diverse domains, including UV inactivation, the study of humoral immune responses, and even the development of novel vaccines.
In 2023, I decided to expand my commitment to the field by joining the esteemed National Laboratory of Virology. My mission is to bridge the gap between industry and academia, fostering practical collaborations that can effectively address emerging health challenges. My overarching goal remains steadfast: to bolster Hungary's epidemiological and biological defense capabilities, ensuring preparedness in the face of evolving health threats.
