I embarked on my university journey in 2016 at the Faculty of Sciences, University of Pécs, majoring in Biology. In 2019, I earned my first degree and conducted my thesis on homeotic mutations. Subsequently, I pursued my master's degree from 2019 to 2021, focusing on genomic analysis of SARS-CoV-2 virus strains for my diploma thesis.
In 2020, I became a part of the National Laboratory of Virology as a master's student. Since 2021, I have continued my involvement with the research group, now as a PhD student. My current research primarily revolves around diseases transmitted by arthropod vectors, with a focus on mosquitoes and mosquito-borne diseases, occasionally delving into ticks and sandflies as well.
