Session 2 – Biosafety in the Balkan Region
Regional perspectives on biosafety, presenting experiences, developments, and opportunities for stronger cooperation among countries and institutions across the Balkan region.
Session 3 – European Biosafety
A broader European perspective on biosafety, focusing on shared priorities, professional networks, and collaboration among European institutions and biosafety communities.
Day 2 – December 3, 2026
Session 4 – International Biosafety
Global perspectives on biosafety, bringing together international experience, different approaches, and opportunities for cooperation beyond Europe.
Session 5 – INTERCEPTOR Consortium Special Session
A dedicated session presenting the activities of the INTERCEPTOR consortium and its work to strengthen international cooperation among high-containment research infrastructures through improved access, biorisk management, resource sharing, harmonisation, and interoperability.

Session 6 – Vanguard Horizon Europe Project Special Session
